Changes to Masking at Los Angeles Unified

In alignment with the guidance from the State of California and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health masking strongly recommended, but not required as of March 23. For more information about COVID-19 protocols, please visit achieve.lausd.net.

Exposure Notification & New Protocols, COVID Testing, & FREE Vaccination

Our school is ensuring that all positive cases or individuals showing symptoms are isolating at home. Until further notice, families will not receive individual contact notifications. Masking at all times. Test weekly. Monitor for symptoms.

LAUSD now requires COVID-19 testing for all students and employees, regardless of vaccination status. All students and employees will be required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to come onto campus.

COVID Testing offered at Gardena High School and other District sites Monday-Friday between 7:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. See attached flyer for more information.
